Hello - I have been led to this site via a very circuitous route but ultimately through Matt Poole?

My uncle (my mother's twin brother) Derrick Charles North Burton, was shot down over Burma on 9th February 1945. He is buried in Taukkyan War Cemetery Coll. grave 7A. E.10-17

My mother is still alive aged 86. She never really recovered from the death of her brother.

I realise that this thread is rather old, but wondered if anyone had a photo of my uncle' s grave?

    Thank you

    Ann

Thank you so much bucklt. I showed the photo of the grave to my mother today (Derricks twin sister). She was very moved by it, and although she has Alzheimers now, talked a lot about her brother which I felt was good for her.

This is a wonderful service that you offer and I am very grateful for it.
