On large model aircraft - I happen to know somebody's joined here recently that's making a 1/4 scale Spitfire... I do hope they show us more ;).

Lets see, that would make a wingspan of approximately 6 feet :) and a length of about 5 feet.

I do hope we get to see the finished article or build stages.

Hi Gents, Im the noob here, and will be building the bomber here in Brisbane Australia. This is not my first build as previously I started build the Bismarck, but on separation from my wife she threw it and 700 bucks worth of parts in the skip.. So this one will be safely built away from the opposite sex.lol. I am really looking forward to building this beautiful girl and hopefully striking up some good friendships along the way. I love watching, reading and seeing anything about WW2 even the PS games are a hoot.. So I look forward to meeting all of you and happy building..

    Hi all
I bought the 1st one for my youngest son, not buying the rest - too dear. We made the parts up- it is only balsa wood and fairly flimsy. Would be cheaper and sturdier to by an Airfix kit!

    regards

Welcome, Matt, you sure are a man of courage :)

May I ask what will the final cost of the kit with all it's parts be? What scale is it, or wingspan to work that out?
