All I am off to Brookwood tomorrow so if anyone has any requests please let me know, either on here or by PM by 10pm at the latest. Regards Andy
I've accidentally wiped out all the shots I took at Brookwood last year! I won't ask you to replace them for me, so don't worry about that, but i'd appreciate it if you could get me a couple of shots of the Turkish plot if you'd be so kind? Thanks. Dave.
Dave How many do you need? I will be there for at least two hours! I can get the general views no problem as I have a map! Andy
Not many, Andy (there aren't many anyway!). A general shot and a close up would be fine, thanks. cheers. Dave.
All I am off to Brookwood tomorrow so if anyone has any requests please let me know, either on here or by PM by 10pm at the latest. Regards Andy Hi Andy, Possibly too late as the 10:00pm was difficult to work out from my end as I just noticed the thread.. (Yesterday/Today?) I have 85 WW2 at Brookwood, however a few in 40/41 are of interest. One especially: BOB F/Lt Richard C. 'Dick' Reynell RAF, an Australian was the Hawker test pilot and had voluntarily joined No 43 Squadron to report to his company the Hurricane's combat performance. He joined the Oxford University Squadron in 1931 and became Hawkers Test Pilot in 1937. His technical knowledge was far above average. He shot down a Bf 109 on the 2nd of September. R.C.Reynell was shot down by a Bf 109 on the 7th of September 1940 over South London at 16:45hrs. Tragically he baled out of his burning Hurricane I (V7257) but his parachute failed to open. He was 28 and left a wife and baby son. http://books.google.com.au/books?id=_rcsEah93-cC&pg=PA42&lpg=PA42&dq=%22richard+carew+reynell%22+RAF&source=web&ots=EcR8oi8yRO&sig=8ph4UGhBmVkXDsJN8FQG71oH0PA&hl=en&sa=X&oi=book_result&resnum=2&ct=result#PPA42,M1 <table x:str="" style="border-collapse: collapse; width: 679pt;" width="906" border="0" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0"><col style="width: 147pt;" width="196"> <col style="width: 48pt;" span="3" width="64"> <col style="width: 53pt;" width="71"> <col style="width: 48pt;" span="3" width="64"> <col style="width: 191pt;" width="255"> <tbody><tr style="height: 12.75pt;" height="17"> <td class="xl24" style="height: 12.75pt; width: 147pt;" x:str="WHITE, FREDERICK BEN " width="196" height="17">WHITE, FREDERICK BEN </td> <td class="xl24" style="border-left: medium none; width: 48pt;" width="64">Sergeant</td> <td class="xl24" style="border-left: medium none; width: 48pt;" x:num="" width="64">633512</td> <td class="xl24" style="border-left: medium none; width: 48pt;" width="64">7sq RAF</td> <td class="xl25" style="border-left: medium none; width: 53pt;" x:num="15065" width="71">30/03/1941</td> <td class="xl24" style="border-left: medium none; width: 48pt;" width="64">Unknown</td> <td class="xl24" style="border-left: medium none; width: 48pt;" width="64">Royal Air Force</td> <td class="xl24" style="border-left: medium none; width: 48pt;" width="64">UK</td> <td class="xl24" style="border-left: medium none; width: 191pt;" width="255">25.
