    I see the Commission have included the 'Next of Kin' as part of the commemoration .... with no quibble!

    Not a new commemoration, but a moved commemoration from Brookwood Memorial. The NOK details were already part of his commemoration. CWGC policy is that no old commemorations will have NOK or any additional info added except for decorations.

    I get the

    I have the feeling this newish policy of the CWGC is primarily to make things easier for their enquiry section. Enquiries to the Commission trying to get N.O.K. details added where they are currently missed off the record will be kicked into touch straight away.

    My apologies as I did not realise that you had posted the photograph of John(Jack) Dallamores grave.

    Please accept my sincerest thanks for what you have done in getting a brave mans grave correctly identified for posterity. which concludes six years of research from just his signature on a small piece of paper held by the Savoldelli family in the Val Camonica since September 1943
