British WW1 submarine found.

    Supposedly foumd with forward hatch open, they say it struck a mine. The actual marine survey photos should be interesting viewing.

    The Swedish navy appear good at finding sunken naval vessels. I believe they recently found a sunken WW1 Russian Submarine.

    History repeating itself, sort of: Churchill sending subs to the Baltic in 1916 to stop the Hun getting the Swedish iron ore, then going into Narvik in 1940 for the same purpose.
    30 more souls no longer missing; a good result.

    History repeating itself, sort of: Churchill sending subs to the Baltic in 1916 to stop the Hun getting the Swedish iron ore, then going into Narvik in 1940 for the same purpose.

    Sure didn't they spend a good part of the 1970s and 80s looking for....and occasionally finding!...MODERN Russian subs nosing round their coasts??? :lol:
