Hi all, Was wondering if anyone could perhaps shed any light on this detachment in Paris. My grandfather served with them either being seconded or transferred to them having first been with 5th Black Watch in North Africa and Italy and then with 21 Army Group HQ from 30 May 1944 and landing with them in France on 27 July 1944. I would love to know where they were actually based and indeed anything anyone may be able to add would be helpful as I have scany details on them currently! Thanks in advance Steve

Thank you Trux. most helpful, also helps explain his posting away late in 1944 to Lines of Communication unit, if the LofC no longer went through Paris then be good reason for the change! Cheers Steve
