From a quick look at the infantry list: did we exclude the Leicestershires' full regimental history (Underhill) for any reason (other than it's easy to get as the NMP reprint)?

 

Didn't know there was one. I have a history of sorts covering 1940. Post the details

However, there are only 9 pages on the BEF so it's unlikely to tell you anything that isn't in Tigers at Dunkirk.

 

Cheers it would be rude not to add it to the collection. Theres only two original publications on Abe and I noticed that one of the sellors says there are 22 loose maps with the book in a pocket in the back. Unfortunately his copy only has 15.

 

If it's any consolation the BEF map (if it's in there) is very generic!

Yes, 'fraid so. It's odd that the contents page doesn't list all the maps.

 

Thanks, I'll keep an eye out for a complete set. I think there are some individual Bn books missing from the list too. I'm sure I saw a individual battalion book for one of the Surrey or Sussex Battalions a few months ago-It was around £250 so I wasn't in a rush to get it but can't find it or remember which one it was now.

Hello I have had a quick look in this thread and online does anybody know if there are books on the 72nd Anti Tank reg 1944 - 1945 I would like to find out more about the 198 / 234 Btys and 72 & 208 RA Fld Regiment 1947. Hope to narrow the Bty number down once I have medal record.
