Dig 1940 Wednesday 15 December, BBC1 at 19.30hrs.

Prog 1 is Battle of France, aircraft digs in France (Do17 & Ju87), Maginot Line & Dunkirk
Prog 2 is Convoy "Peewit", Flt Lt Rhodes Moorehouse (1940 colour film), Hurricane dig by Chesil Beach
Priog 3 is Somerset Heinkel dig, Yorkshire underground bunkers, Uxbridge Bunker & Hull blitz.

 

Just to say that this magazine in its February edition will be printing an article on Operation Colossus........the 70th anniversary next month.......

As a mere mortal who doesn't noramlly get this magazine I thought I'd let people know about Colossus as I've read the article......

 

Not too keen on this magazine. I've had a few issues, but on the whole find some of the articles a bit pointless, and often badly formatted and punctuated. I also just don't like the layout of the magazine - it kind of reminds me of an up market newsletter! But each to their own...
