Hi all, Can't find anything on this individual on the forum, although there is a mention of a Brigadier Carr of 22nd Armoured Brigade. However, I'm not sure if he would be the same fellow or not. The context: he is mentioned as "Ted Carr" in Canada's Pride: The Ram Tank and its Variants as "the Dewar Mission's tank expert". He made a number of recommendations in late 1940 to alter the American M3 medium which - refused by the US because they didn't want to delay production - were implemented in Canada as the Ram tank, and generally seems to have had the position of lead designer for it. There is a reference to him being a Brigadier as well, and having the position of head of Canada's "Defence Design Branch". But I'm posting here because I assume he was actually British and presumably a member of DTD or something like that.
