Would it be possible to suggest locations of this bridge/photo?
The unit is 113th Light Anti-Aircraft.
There is a close up of the sign (for the bridge) It looks like "Bridge” can be read bottom left, but can't quite read any other elements. The Class 9 may help.

I’m looking. The sign you point out is just a “spacing” sign. This was put on all bridges (especially floating bridges). It tells the drivers of vehicles the “spacing” to keep while driving on the bridge from other vehicles.

I can’t quite read it all, but it says “ ?? Spacing ON Bridge ?? “.......would suspect the first question marks is the distance, probably around 50 to 80 feet........and the second question mark could be “deck or decking” etc

It’s no ditch being crossed. I would put money on the Rhine and the bridge being crossed is possibly 'Draghunt' a Cl 9 Folding Boat Equipment bridge. This bridge had a name board to that effect but sadly the truck obscures it. 'Draghunt' was visited by Churchill, Alanbrooke and Monty on 26 March and you may find pictures of this visit to help you confirm the bridge.

Check out alberk's post #1 of his thread Bridging the Rhine for 12th Corps - March 1945 and you will find a photo of Churchill with Gen Ritchie, GOC XII Corps, at Draghunt. Although quick to build, the bridge was not a huge success as you will read.

Thank you for all the replies. Draghunt is a name that appears in a personal diary so it is definately a lead.
