North Staffs Royal Infirmary new nurses home I believe bombed late June 1940 by a lone German aircraft two days after its opening. There were no injuries as the home was unoccupied at the time.

    hi, Peter,
born in Porthill, then moved up the road into Bradwell... there are 3 Vale supporters in our street,( doesn't that constitute a gathering under law, and gathering is another word for crowd?) and we always say " there are only 2 teams in the potteries, Vale and Vale reserves"...

    regards,
    dave... :P

I like it. I've been a Stoke supporter for as long as I can remember, through thick and thin, mostly thin ;) but I stick with them.

I have a little more re the bombing of the Potteries if you wish?

    Regards

    Peter.
