Greetings members, I wanted to ask if anyone here has a copy of the above book by William Smith, covering the history of 152 (Hyderabad) Squadron. If so, I’m further curious whether there is any mention therein of Lt. (later Capt.) Anthony Croad, an SAAF pilot who was with the squadron from Nov. 1943 until he was wounded by ground fire near Meiktila in Feb. 1945. A lookup would be highly appreciated. Many thanks, W.
The book doesnt have an index, and cursory scanning i could not find anything dealing with Croad. The only place Croads name appears is an image of a "flying roster", a document that has his name as Lt Croad. on top it says "Baigachi, India, 1943"
