What's the best action WW2 picture you guys have found on the web? It can be anything from soldiers in combat, attacks or a ship sinking. Or it could be just a cool WW2 picture. If you guys have any cool shots could you please, post them on this thread? Thanks! Here are some actions shot I've come across on the web: 1) Blücher sinking in Norway on April 9, 1940 2) Wilhelm Gustloff passes by Artillerieschulfschiff Brummer sometime in 1938 or 1939.
Oh gracious, there are so many! I can see the first two shots, Slipdigist but for some reason I can't see the rest. I click on the attachments and it says they're invalid. I don't know if its something wrong with my computer or who knows? I'd like to see them, they sound pretty cool.
Don't know what happened, I can see them. I'll repost tomorrow. I need to crawl between the kivvers. Onc't they was a little boy wouldn't say his prayers,— So when he went to bed at night, away upstairs, His Mammy heerd him holler, an' his Daddy heerd him bawl An' when they turn't the kivvers down, he wasn't there at all!

That's it Poop, Good job My favorite, for obvious reasons. This is one of the first pics from the war I can remember seeing. I thought at the time the "army men" were trying to hold the flag up to keep it from falling. I was about 3 or 4. The sailor climbing up onto the plane has one large set of kahunas. Look at what he is standing on. British pack 75 at Arnhem. I wonder if these men made back.
This is my favourite. After all isn't war 99% boredom? Hurry up and wait, hurry up and wait. Or am I not playing this game properly? A universal carrier crew of 4th Wiltshire Regiment's anti-tank platoon, 43rd (Wessex) Division, 21 September 1944.
