The first is of SA troops at the village fountain taken before the war.

Yet again thanks to ATB a hard one to find, giving the wrong location in their publication as with many Dunkirk pictures. After 20 miles of driving and thanks to my super assistant we found it for you !

Troopers of the 3rd Battalion, 506th Parachute Infantry Regiment of the 101st Airborne Division are on the march towards Berchtesgaden.

The last one in this set is of an American tank with troops from (I think) the 3rd Infantry Division getting a lift rolling into the Schlossplatz in Berchtesgaden.

    Cheers all,

I've done quite a few more of Obersalzberg and the Eagles Nest and I'll try and post some later.
