I asked a good friend of mine, Chris, who lives in Bergen to pop upto becklingen and take some photos for dbf - for her Irish Guards history. Here are a few of the general shots, and an added bonus Gdmn Charlton VC - last to be won during WW2 WO2 McRory MM - at the age of 27 I forgot I had this sketch map of the battle around Soltua Becklingen will be on the road between Bergan and Soltau, just close to Bossel
