    The MOD always bring out their stock answer. We do not allow planes to fly if there is a problem.

    I think if you had a private word with the pilots you may receive a different answer.

    I must say I have had less cause to worry in British military aircraft courtesy of all three services than I have with civilian companies. :)

    I take it the article about the Nimrod is the aircraft not having a foam fire fighting sprinkler system?
