Does anyone have any recomendations for books that cover all or most the ships involved in the war? I have seen a few but not bought one yet, I keep ending up buying lots of books on ust 1 topic to get all the info so I want to try and just get one this time if possible.

I am looking for something that has the technical details of the ships included as well.

    Thanks for any recomendations.

Here's a primary source for German ones:

    C. D. Bekker "Defeat at sea" (Kampf und Untergaang der Kriegsmarine), Düsseldorf 1953.

The Longest Battle, by Richard Hough, and Clash of Titans (author escapes me), are the two best one-volume surveys of WW2 at sea that I have seen.
