Operation Clipper November 1944 saw British 43 Wessex Div fight side by side with US 83rd 'Railsplitters'.

Either that or Swindon's Regent Street, 3 way fight.

    USA v GB v Canada.

During the six-month long Guadalcanal Campaign, the great turning point of the war in the Pacific, there were six named naval battles (that I count - in addition to unnamed sea engagements).
At the first, the Battle of Savo Island (August 9-10, 1942), the Australian heavy cruiser Canberra was sunk, along with several American warships. Stunning Japanese victory, that one.

Near the end of the Pacific War, the Royal Navy fought alongside the U.S. Navy at Okinawa.
