Hi everybody. The weekend has arrived! :)

Heading to the Ardenne, Bastogne area for the first time next month to explore the Battle of the Bulge.

Currently reading Snow and Steel by Peter Caddick Adams.

Can you recommend a map of the area? There are many and I was wondering if you have found one to be better than the others for exploring the area?

Always very grateful for your time and advice and I hope you have a great weekend.

    Ross.

    Sheldrake All over the place....

Wallonia Tourism "Belgium the place to be" have produced a map covering the belgian and Luxembourg battlefields. This is useful as the modern IGN 1:100,000 series, which is good for map reading but it takes a lot of sheets to cover the area and doesn't cover Luxembourg. Contact them here The place to be - The Belgian Tourist Office – The official website of the TOURISM and CONVENTION bureau of Brussels and Wallonia

Here is a link to second world war mapping where you can download sections of 1:50,000 maps of Belgium
