Dr Matthais Strohn is going to be talking about the German Invasion of the Soivet Union at Lunchtime Wednesday 22nd June 2016 in London.
Dr Strohn is a specialist in the history of the German army in the 20th century, with a special interest in the World Wars. He is a senior lecturer in the Department of War Studies, Sandhurst and Senior Research Fellow in Modern War Studies at the University of Buckingham. He holds a commission in the Bundeswehr. I have heard him speak on sebveral occasions. He is brilliant and always brings a different angle to the subject, with wit and humour. Would be interesting to go to see this but can't make it.

An important date in world history we ought to be thinking about.
