    Good evening,

I wonder if anybody can through some light on these caps please. My family believed they belonged to my Great Uncle who was in the RAF during WW2 however these look like they may belong to the Royal Artillery (Grenade?). Any thoughts would be appreciated.

RA 'grenade' has 7 flames whereas the RE has 10.

Thanks for the quick responses, great. The upper cap design, were they generic and the relevant badge is added or is the design / colour only used for the ARP as in the photo above. Thanks for confirming the lower cap.

It is in fact a Royal Artillery Other Ranks side cap. An officers cap would have gold braid trim.

No need to apologies, its a common mistake. I have two OR side caps in my collection, but sadly no officers.

Good evening, I have obtained some better photos of the Forage Cap, does this help with the identification? Many thanks
