Hi! Can anyone tell me which Wehrmacht units were operating on the northern and western shores of Lago Comacchio in Italy in Feb/March 1945? Or where I can find out this information? Many thanks Mel
Mel - I had abook outlining many of the Units near Commachio during that period - it dealt with the partisan activities all over the North of Italy and what the Nazi's did to quell them - it's a bit gruesome as one SS unit was brought over from Russia and played havoc burning villages etc - The Name of the Book - "Italy's Sorrow" - unfortunately loaned it out - last Ive seen of it ....should be on Amazon though ...
