Award Bronze Star Trooper Thomas Parry, Squadron B, 141st Regiment, (The Buffs), Royal Armoured Corps,

Trooper Thomas Parry, 14528208, was a member of Squadron B, 141st Regiment, (The Buffs), Royal Armoured Corps, which operated in direct support of the 29th Infantry Division in the capture of the enemy stronghold of Fort Montbarey, near Brest, France, during the period 12th September to 16th September 1944. During this most vital and dangerous operation, Trooper Parry displayed outstanding aggressiveness and exemplary devotion to duty which contributed materially in the reduction of this enemy fort. His actions reflect great credit upon himself and were in keeping the highest traditions of the Armed Forces.
