I have recently discovered several Australian war graves in my local cemetery (Hampstead london)
Among the CWG Headstones are two belonging to R.Kerr ANZAC and Donald Curdie Black RAF
Both were from Camperdown Victoria Australia.
Black died in a flying accidents and Kerr from a head wound received at Gallipoli. I know Kerr was transferred to the Hampstead military hospital at Hampstead where he succumbed to his wound.
If anyone has any further information on Donald Curdie Black it would be much appreciated?

    Kind regards
    Marx

    Hi Marx,

Not too much on him I'm afraid other than he is on the Australian Commemorative Roll which shows that he was an Australian serving in an allied force.

You have the grave photo however this is for the forum.

He was actually from Noorat near Terang and their property was Mount Noorat.

mount noorat victoria - Google Maps

His mother was a Red Cross worker and is listed at her funeral as a Benefactress. (It is from a newspaper online and requires quite a lot of editing)

    Cheers
