Hi, I came across this image on an Australian service file for a man who served in Australia Militia Forces (RA) 1933/39 and then full time in WW2. I’ve never seen a similar image to the one in the below link - it appears to be a compulsory military service registration form under the above Act completed in 1924. The subject was only 16 years old at the time of completing the form. Do any members have any background on this Australian “National Service” type legislation please? Steve Digital Item Page Gallery
Steve, I found these small pieces on the AWM website: Conscription | The Australian War Memorial and Universal Service Scheme, 1911–29 | The Australian War Memorial. Also from the National Archives Australia site: Universal military training in Australia, 1911-29 - Fact sheet 160 – National Archives of Australia, Australian Government Mark
