Yesterday I went to an ex-workmate's funeral.
    Angus Torrie Cobb.
For a few years I didn't know about his previous career in the RAF.
    He never spoke about it.
I first heard about him being in the RAF in a queue at an airport in Tunisia in 1994 when chatting to an RAF chap , when he found out where I worked he asked if I knew Gus Cobb & told me about him saving an RAF plane from hijackers.

Here's a bit more info about the incident.

There was a good RAF turnout at the funeral .
Shame there weren't more of my workmates there.

I heard that Gus didn't let any of them on the plane....he was a big bloke.

    Thanks for sharing Owen.

    RIP a brave man.

Sorry to hear that a lot of your work mates weren't there to say farewell.
