In memory of Patricia O'Sullivan (nee Webb) who died today, 20th March 2013, at the age of 93 years and 8 months. Patricia served with the ATS as a teleprinter operator from Sept 1942 to March 1946 at Southern Command, Salisbury, and then at the War Office in Whitehall. During her time billeted at Sloane Square, she certainly enjoyed the tunes of Glenn Miller, who she saw in concert in the West End in the latter part of 1944 - John Miller, nephew of Glenn, recently wrote to her with the words "Keep on Dancin', Patricia". She hardly needed that extra encouragement, as I played "In the Mood" to her yesterday. Patricia was better known to me as my Mum, mother to 5 others, grandmother to 9 and great grand mother to 5. She will always be remembered with a smile.... best

Very sorry for your loss and sincere condolences to the whole family. My mum would have been one year older. They really were in a class of their own. Geoff
