    I have only just come across this posting about WAAF Elizabeh Cowan. It is posted under 'ATS casualties' rather than one for 'WAAF casualties.

    Elizabeth Cowan is a kinsowman of mine ('Cousin Betty'). She was in the WAAFs (Air Force) rather than the ATS (Army).

    Betty died at home of 'Bomb Blast injuries' received some months earlier. I have written a number of tributes to Betty elsewhere.
