I've been looking at the Tracer Card to a soldier who's medal will shortly be joining my collection. He enlisted 13th October 1939 into the Royal Artillery. His unit is listed as 124/38 LT AA REG. He embarked for the Middle East on the 26th July 1942. Dis-embarking in Egypt on the 11th October 1942. Could someone explain to me his Unit? Is it 124 Battery 38th Regiment? I've done some searching and can only find 38th Light AA Brigade. Thanks
