Hi all, I'm not sure if this is the right place for this thread but I'm sure the mods will move it if required . I was recently given a large number of photos/documents etc by a gentleman who visited Arnhem in 1956 to research a book he intended to write. I haven't managed to work my way through all the stuff yet but a few photos caught my eye. I know some of them are familiar but there a few I couldn't place and was wondering if anybody out there could help. If you're interested then please have a look and let me know what you think! All the best, Paul............... Misc Arnhem Pics pictures by Paul3965 - Photobucket
No.24 looks Eusebiusssingel in centre No.31 maybe the garage at Onderlangs near shipbridge area No.32 British officers, in Bergstraat, arnhem have trying to trace them but without relsult many years ago. No.39 pathfinder near icefactory at Benedendorpsweg, Oosterbeek
No.6 men of 49 Division during liberation of Arnhem in 1945 No.21 Panthertank in oosterbeek No.22 Looks like milkfactory near Bridge
Just moved this to the right area; interesting photos. Thanks for sharing them. Thanks Paul, I knew I could count of one of our MODS to set me straight . There are literally dozens of pictures that I have been given but I think most of them are well known to the "Arnhem Nuts" amongst us. If I uncover any others that I think are unusual or haven't been made readily available I'll post them ASAP. As I said previously, there are also loads of documents including an original architect's blueprint for the Arnhem roadbridge! Unfortunatey this is too big to "scan" but if I can get it on here somehow I will. All the best....................
Thank you Paul great photos. I think photo 25 Unknown Location is of the same house in photo 28 which the location is given. Compare the damage to the corner and the house details....arkrite.
I think No.23 might be in After The Battle's Market-Garden Then and Now. I'm afraid I don't have it to hand to confirm. IIRC they are Glider Pilots in Oosterbeek.
Hi all, I've added another 41 pics to the folder today ( Misc Arnhem Pics pictures by Paul3965 - Photobucket ). Some of them will be familiar to the "Arnhem Nuts" on here but I hope that a few of them aren't! I apologise in advance for the way they have been organised by "photobucket". There seems to be no rhyme or reason as to the order the pics get sorted in despite my efforts Hope you find them interesting and please let me know if you have any info regarding them, date, location etc. Cheers................

Paul, perhaps a trip to Kew would be of interest as WO205/1230 is listed as 1st Airborne Division at Arnhem : A photographic Record. Got to be lots of interest in the File.
Hi Paul & All ADM I have that isn't that the file with the Hamilcar photo in it ???? Also at the time in Kew that file was handed to me in person from someone in Kew where it's always out with him.... And ADM your right Paul does need to go to Kew Paul how many weeks holidays do you have lol God knows how many war diaries I have and information to do with Airborne Arnhem and the like....
Tom, have you browsed the Catalogue for WO205 as there are lots of Files that will be of interest. Easier to browse them in reverse. Brian
your welcome Paul, the booklets were posted yesterday Thanks a lot Philip, I'll let you know when they arrive
Paul, my friend, where do you find all the time to do all these great things! When will your book on Arnhem be published, Paul? Cheers, Paul
