    Hi Roody Miller,

In surfing around following an email from another war story researcher, I came across your thread concerning the 'Three Jans' (on Arnhem and the Heijbroek/Heybroek family). It was 8 months after a comment I made! My late mother was married to Lt John Howard 4 Para who died while crossing the Rhine along with James O McLean who you inquired of. I hope you got the copy of "The Three Englishmen in the Cellar", if not I can send you one.

I was interested in the book you wrote "13 Lucky for Some" and would like to know where to acquire one.

My late mother's and father's meeting and marriage in the Arnhem aftermath was a result of the battle.

Hi James, I am getting together with family in Arnhem this week-end (Sept. 21-22nd). Please could you let me have copy of letter from John Howard. He was my late mother's first husband and died with your father while escaping across the Rhine.
