Hi, I am new to the forum. I am researching my grandfather's (George Strong) World War 2 service. He was commissioned into the RA in 1940. He was posted to AKS Depot in Wembley on 20 Feb 44. He was temporarily attached to CKO HQ South Comd in Wembley. He was posted to 24 AKS Cmd Coy RAOC in Aldershot on 16 Jun 44. He was posted to No4 AKS Exhibition Wing in Aldershot on 17 Oct 45. He was then posted to AWS GHQ MEF on 15 Nov 45 and returned back to the UK on 10 Feb 46. Does any one have any information on 24 AKS Cmd Coy RAOC and AWS GHQ MEF? Many thanks Martin
