    CWGC do look after the stones to be fair. Any chance its a replacement from a previously damaged one?

    Hi,

    The role of the 1st Regiment North Irish Horse, which had served as infantry since being dismounted earlier in the war, was changed again wef 1st April 1918.

    The war diary gives a good idea what they did. See Cyclist Regiment
