Army bank notes

    Hi
    Trying to remember the name of banknotes used by British Army in Austria in 1946.
    Something like BANNFS
    Just used in the canteens

    BAF apparently BAFV or 'Baffs' were still used in BAOR until the early 1960s.

    One of the banknote dealers back in the 80s (think) bought a warehouse full of these. I was Waiting for someone on Waterloo station back then - a guy was handing out advertising blurb and a free BAF! They came in denominations from a penny up!
