    Captioned 6th Royal Battalion (Scinde) 13th Frontier Force Rifles and accredited to a Lt Col.Bunbury, I feel that the buyer got quite a bargain.

    ...and one for Adam from the above album. I'm not sure if he's using a cigarette holder but the cane and sunglasses together with the well-practised disdainful look put him right up there with the eternal symbols of Empire. School bully if you ask me !

    From my Fathers journal.

    Not a Pic just a comment on what 5 RHA felt about pith helmets on arrival in Egypt.

    We drew our Guns, quads, soft trucks etc.and at the first concentration point dug a huge hole and buried our pith helmets, it had been a Court Martial offence not to wear them for the past 7 weeks!
