You know the score on this one, what pop songs would have been appropriate for some of the WWII leaders to sing:

For Example Yamamoto's version of "Dont let the sun go down on Me" I'm sure would have been a great Hit!

Or what about Eva Brauns rendition of "Living in a Box????

Maybe Winston could have given Rick Astley's hit "Never gonna give you up" a rendition in his dealings with De Gaulle

Or what about Mao Tse Tung singing that 70's hit "You're more than a number in my little red book"

Or indeed FDR singing to Britain "You'll Never Walk Alone"

Come on guys and gals use your imagination!!!

"Wait Till I Get Back To You" (by Mariska Veres of Shocking Blue) sung by Hitler to Stalin after the 1939 Pact (might need one or two words changed though)

Thats the Stuff KYT! Now what about the classic sung by Hitler to his generals on the eve of Barbarossa "Dont stop till you get enough" (Michael Jackson!)

Or indeed Hitler's version of the Rolling Stones "under my thumb" to describe his relationship with Mussolini??

Does it have to be leaders - just thinking of the German marching song during their retreat from the Soviets (or Maybe Stalin to Hitler) - These Boots Were Made For Walking

You keep saying you've got something for me.
something you call love, but confess.
You've been messin' where you shouldn't have been a messin'
and now someone else is gettin' all your best.
These boots are made for walking, and that's just what they'll do
one of these days these boots are gonna walk all over you.

You keep lying, when you oughta be truthin'
and you keep losin' when you oughta not bet.
You keep samin' when you oughta be changin'.
Now what's right is right, but you ain't been right yet.

These boots are made for walking, and that's just what they'll do
one of these days these boots are gonna walk all over you.

You keep playin' where you shouldn't be playin
and you keep thinkin' that you'll never get burnt.
Ha! I just found me a brand new box of matches yeah
and what he know you ain't HAD time to learn.

Are you ready boots? Start walkin'!

Stalin singing Red Alert by Basement Jaxx would have been interesting.

What about Rommels Storms in Africa by Enya

The Sumarine crews doing a fine rendition of Evanescence's Going Under

Bomber Harris singing Come Fly With Me

Churchill singing Jack Johnson's Middle Man to FDR and Stalin

The Russian Army singing Queen's Hammer To Fall

Douglas Bader's version of DC's Jumpin' Jumpin' (I had to have one bad taste)

And finally HItler singing The Jam's Going Underground.

And on that note I shall retire from this game before I get myself into any deeper trouble with further bad taste comments. ;)

What about Wavell to Churchill in 1941 singing Queen's "Dont Stop me Now"???

Or Goerings Classic "Fixing a Hole" by The Beatles. I think he sang this in the SportsPalast in 1942

I'm fixing a hole in the Kammhuber Line
    to stop those Bombers wandering
    where they will go
I'm filling the cracks in our defense radar
    to stop those bombers wandering
    where they will go

And it really doesn't matter if they bomb
    tonight where I belong
    tonight where I belong
    See the Yankees flying there
who hit the trees and never live
and wonder why they don't get through my flak

I'm shooting them down in a colorful way,
    and when my nightfighters prowling
    there I will go

And it really doesn't matter if they bomb
    tonight where I belong
    tonight where I belong
    Silly Lancasters fly around
dont worry me and never ever
ever will get past my Flak

Hitler in the Shower - Running with the devil (Van Halen)

I live my life like theres no tomorrow
And all Ive got I had to steal
Least I dont need to beg or borrow
Yes Im living at a pace that kills

    Runnin with the devil
    Runnin with the devil

I found the simple life aint so simple
When I jumped out on that road
I got no love, no love youd call real
Aint got nobody waiting at home

    Runnin with the devil
    Runnin with the devil

You know i, I found the simple life, werent so simple, no
When I jumped out on that road
Got no love, no love youd call real
    Got nobody waiting at home

    Runnin with the devil
    Runnin with the devil
    Runnin with the devil
    Runnin with the devil

Eva Braun in the Shower - Stand by your man

Sometimes its hard to be a woman
Giving all your love to just one man
    You'll have bad times
    And he'll have good times
Doing things that you don't understand
But if you love him you'll forgive him
Even though he's hard to understand
    And if you love him
    Oh be proud of him
'Cause after all he's just a man
    Stand by your man
Give him two arms to cling to
And something warm to come to
When nights are cold and lonely
    Stand by your man
And tell the world you love him
Keep giving all the love you can
    Stand by your man
    Stand by your man
And show the world you love him
Keep giving all the love you can
    Stand by your man
