Anyone require War Diaries or other files from the National Archives?

Just a quick reminder that there's only three days left before I head south to Kew incase anyone is considering if they want any files copied. This months trips will most likely be the last for a while as I return to work in May.

i am hoping for the 1st Batt Kensington regt diaries and will gladly donate to the British Legion and SSAFA charities thank you in anticipation

I can echo the comments made by all Andy's customers. My disc of 2nd Bn. Hampshire War Diary for September 1939/June1940 arrived last week.

Hi drew, i was meant to be in NARA this week (my conference was cancelled) but it has got me thinking about your offer at Kew. i am after the Intelligence Summaries for 8th and 1st armies in tunisia Nov 42 - May 43. I don't know how big an 'ask' this is but hope you might be able to help.

Hi, just a couple of things to mention quickly as my interent is limited in Kent.

Firstly many thanks to everyone who's ordered files and I have got all the files that were requested by members. Can I ask that you bare with me over the next couple of days, as I'm sure you can appreciate having spent two weeks at Kew I've copied quite a few files and I need to sort them all out, which will take a bit of time. I will keep you all informed individually by PM on the progress of your order and I plan on posting the first batch of diaries on Monday on a first come first served basis.

Now the boring bit's out of the way last orders finish at 6am tomorrow morning before I set off for Kew for the last time this month,

If I am not too late would it be possible for you to copy the 2nd Bn. Hamps War Diary
from 10.11.42 up to about the end of Dec 1942. My Father in Law was killed in action on 3.12.42 so I am not really interested in the diary after that date but whatever date end you think. Sorry to be so late with my request, but I have been offline for a few days. Anyway good luck with your orders.

Hi everyone, those of you that have paid for discs should be receiving them tomorrow or the day after. All were posted today. I have sent PM's to all of you waiting for file updates regarding the cost of any diaries or files you ordered. As soon as I receive payment and it clears I will post you the DVD.

Ref my next trip it will be as soon as I have enough orders. I won't be doing anymore two week trips as I return to work next month but I'm still offering the copying service if you still wish to use it. What I intend to do from today is as soon as I have a collection of ten files ordered I will travel down to the National Archives for the day and I will keep it rolling as long as there is a demand for the service - So get ordering
