Anyone going to Tunisia??

    Hi all,

    Just an update to say that i have contact through the forum, the forum admin is going to Tabarka in a few weeks and will try and take the photos for me.......dont worry spidge i said yours aswell.... :D..many thanks to Owen....this forum you put me in contact with may be the solution to all these months of trying to find someone to photograph my uncles grave.

    Donnie I think this is the cemetery you are looking for on Google earth

    Copy and paste these into Google earth and then you can at least show your grandad where he is buried in the photo view from above and you pan out and look at the surrounding area

    Never ceases to amaze me what modern technology can do

    A new great result.....a lady hs kindly offered to drive to the cemetery tommorow and take pics......dont worry Spidge i have also asked her to do your guys aswell.........and Mr Steve Newman....yours has also been put down for a photo....

    I'd better not put my request on there! I have 88 of my Airborne chaps in Tabarka, and another 388 in 3 of the ones Spidge mentions. Oh well I will have to try and get out there for a holiday so I can do at least one of them!

    yeah i think 88 is too much! well....you could always try down the same route that i did....maybe the CWGC will be more helpful with you.

    I sent an email to see whether they have photos or whether they would pass my request for assistance onto the people doing the tour. I will await the response.

    Possibly a flat "no" however if you do not ask...........................!
