During the long dark nights of winter I have been researching more and more and have found more graves in several of the Cemeteries around Normandy. If anybody can help me to get photos of these headstones I would be very appreciative. All I would ask is for the photos to be as high resolution as possible, and for the Memorial photo, his name to be centrally placed in 5 or 7 lines of names. Thank you. I will be in Normandy at the end of this month. I can't promise anything but I will try my best to get the photos you require .
Thanks Owen. I shall contact Ramacal to see if he has a higher resolution copy of the photo as I really need a close up of his name.
I'm now back from my latest trip to Normandy. I only had 3 full days there and had a lot of places on my list that I wanted to revisit, as well as a few that I had never been to before. In those 3 days I only managed to get to one of the cemeteries that you listed, which was Bayeux. The memorial wall photos were quite difficult to achieve as the name was so high up.
Hi Temptage - with the headstone photos provided by John & the memorial wall photo link supplied above by Ramacal is that Bayeux completed? I will focus on the other blokes as that will free up my need to visit Bayeux (I visited there on my last visit and I will see how my schedule pans out to see if I go through there again this time).
