    Interesting.

Thoughts immediately turn to the chap who brings a Chally 1 to Beltring, who is said to have had visits from officialdom in the past.
I believe his was acquired in two lumps though, and without the Chobham.

This chap, may be the same one, no idea - would have to check the Beltring entry list from a while back, appears to have the Chobham... Which I'm mildly surprised at, but who knows:

Wethersfield is an WW2 airfield now used as the HQ and training area for the MOD Police and also used 16 Air Assault Brigade ,Still has a usable airstrip I under stand but mainly used by helicopters.
Plenty of room to store few tanks.
I met the convoy going in the opposite direction ,certainly caused some congestion on the narrow roads around here, would have helped if they had broken it down into packages..
I will look out for the next convoy on Monday.
Would be interesting to find out what's going on.
To a lot of people if it has tracks, a gun and goes clank, clank ,its a tank,

This throws up a few questions.
Why confiscate 14 armoured vehicles and go to the cost of transporting them to Wethersfield.
Surely if you know of their where about it would be easy to keep track of them.(Non pun intended)
Conspiracy theorist could have a field day. Private Armies......,...
