    Hi All

A friends father was a Gunner in WW2. He was with the Royal Artillery and from 1940 was stationed in the south of England on Anti Aircraft guns. Any ideas what he would have been used for ( apart from shooting at planes ) what was life like for them?

    Cheers

    Ant

    Hello Ant
Was he in Light Anti Aircraft or Heavy Anti Aircraft

my Father was in 116th L.A.A. and then 92nd L.A.A.
spent most of his time training learning to drive various wheeled and tracked vehicles ,fix engines .use equipment etc.
