Hi, It is a copy of the obverse side of an Army service record index card - held centrally. The detail on the index card is an abbreviated version of detail recorded in fuller detail on Army Form B103 and other forms. You would assist Forum members to provide a more detailed analysis of the individuals service history if you attached the full papers or at least the B103's and Statement of Service page of his Attestation papers. Hi, I asked for help deciphering records and was told to post the 103? I think that is what I've attached. As I can't attach files to replies I started a new post, hope that's OK. Any help appreciated.
I moved your post over to this original thread. [Did you click "More Replies Options" when attempting to add attachments to reply box. That's where the upload facility can be found]
Steve Looks simple enough- don't understand why there is a big problem - he floated around with 43 RTR - then CLY for awhile finally landed up with the Royal Scots Greys - went to France with them and after new years went to Hospital-then back and forth into Hospitals until he was demobbed in '47 an put of the reserve like millions of others - he did his job... Cheers
