Just wondering how many different names were used various weapons, soldiers, equipment etc. e.g. Nebelwerfer = Moaning Minnie or V1 = Doodlebug My Grandmother always called the Doodlebug by a alternative nickname " A bugger with its arse afire" Anybody got anymore? Bet there are some goodies out there, albeit they might need explaining given the differences in dialects and even languages.
