This is the WW2 memorial plaque at All Saints and I've got most of the names identified (correctly, I hope).

Can anyone help clear up the details of Sergeant Thomas Cameron and Driver Eric Dickinson, and Jack Pounds, whose rank is clearly given on the plaque as 2 LT. Could that be an error and he's actually Sub-Lieutenant Jack Pounds, Royal Naval Volunteer Reserve; died 23.10.1943?

Looks good. At least I now have a date I can check when I get the opportunity to look up the local 'paper.

Deacs, thanks for that. As above I can check the different dates of death one day. I suspect that someone incorrectly transcribed Jack Pounds' rank, that or it was reported or remembered wrong at the time the names on the plaque were collected.

    Thanks for the help.
