    What seems odd is that the son dies in 1920 and eiptaphh states his late [father] but he didnt die until a year and a half later.

    Alberts mother Caroline Mary died in 1944, and her probate was paid to another son Alexander John McCallum

    I think the inscription is correct as it would likely only be erected after the father passed away.
