Thanks all, especially Dee- 2 hours, long time,
    he is at Grave 11957 Firkins 5118505 AAC/Para 21/12/194
    hope that helps

Thanks Andy. I had that but unfortunately even with a map of the cemetary that the very nice lady gave me I couldnt find it. However there was a section where I couldnt get to the graves as they were tree cutting so I will have another go when I next go to Worcester.... Dont like to let these things beat me especially for brave lads like these...

One good trick that I always use, is to check to see im the TWGPP have uploaded a thumbnail image, as you can see, the grave for firkins is not a CWGC headstone

Andy - I popped into Atherton War Cemetery on my recent travels and grabbed one of the airborne guys for your project.

A few extra piccies as well. I have full-size images if that will help.

The plaque is from the Rocky Creek memorial park. The hotel is near Cairns and apparently was started by an ex-airborne type after the war.

    cheers
