I was wondering if anyone had ever come across one of the following leaflets before. I have a copy of this from my Father's papers. However I would not describe it as a leaflet as it's printed on card. I think that they were issued to all recruits into the Airborne Forces to establish the "espirit de corps" John
Nice piece of Airborne ephemera. The tasks were those they did carry out, by and large. Thanks for posting, Phil. Steve W.

I seem to remember reading somewhere that they were given to all new recruits into the Airborne Forces on the orders of Gen. Browning. Nice thing to have in the collection Phil.........
Yep I got two different ones from Veterans, one for the para's and one for the airlanding troops Somewhere, I have a copy of the one who belongs to Staff Sergeant J.O. McGeough, Glider Pilot Regiment
Yep I got two different ones from Veterans, one for the para's and one for the airlanding troops Philip My Father was Airlanding and his is exactly the same as the one displayed by Phil - what's the difference with the Para one? Surely they were all Airborne Forces and to distribute two different versions would create a division rather than a cohesion between the two branches of the Airborne Divisions. John
hmmm I think you make little change on that and definitly will not sleep in the "arnhem" room or else you don't get any sleep at all
