My grandparents befriended F Sgt Tom Tamblyn during the war & he became one of their family off duty when he visited them in Bexley, London. I have a book that he gave them thanking them for them kindness. Tom was known as 'Tam' as a nickname. His widow sent a photo to them of his grave & a note thanking them for their kindness to him. I'd love to hear from any of his relatives. will try & copy photo I have on here if I can...
