    Claire Mulley's latest book Agent Zo tells the tale of Polish World War Two resistance fighter Elżbieta Zawacka and will be published in May 2024.

    Elżbieta Zawacka has appeared before on this website, within a thread on another brave lady and there was no connection. She rightly deserves her own thread.

    Jim Herriot has posted on a separate Polish thread regarding the Warsaw Uprising, where she fought and from which she escaped.
