    While I suspect you are looking for UK material, here is some from some of the Canadian sources. Ken Bell whose work I really enjoy, Then and Now as well as The Way We Were are sources of his work in the AFPU. I've included photos of some of the other fellows pictured in his work TWWW.

    PS My Uncle who was in the US forces in WW2 and saw the war through his camera lens oddly enough wore the Port of Embarkation patch. That was something I never understood.

    There's a section in Vol2 of D-Day dedicated to quite a few from Canada, America and Britain if you want some names etc. (I don't have a scanner but can take a picture :)

    Is that the Stephen Badsey book? I took a quick look but didn't find it. If it is this book, I can run it through the scanner.

    Ok some names I've just come across in Ruckmarsch:

    British:
    Capt. Derrick Knight
    Sgt. Norman Midgley

    Canadian:
    Lt. Ken Bell
    Lt. Donald Grant

    American:
    Sgt. Kitzerow
    Sgt. Irwin Liebowitz.

    Phil, Its After The Battle's D-Day.

    Thanks - don't have that one and don't think I have anything on the British insignia. It would not be cap brass, or it would be in K & K vol 2.

    Looking forward to what turns up here as this is a new area for me.
